IEC to Host B2B Networking Event for Ugandan SMEs in the Oil & Gas Sector
The Industry Enhancement Centre (IEC) is set to host a Business-to-Business (B2B) themed networking event on July 25, 2024, at its offices on Plot 12, Ngabo Road in Kololo. This event aims to bolster the capacities of Ugandan Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to compete effectively for opportunities in the nation's burgeoning Oil & Gas sector.
The IEC, a strategic initiative supported by TotalEnergies EP (TEPU) Uganda and its Joint Venture partners, China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) Uganda, and the Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC), operates in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD) and the Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU). The centre is managed by the Zoramu Consulting Group (ZCG)/Invest in Africa (IIA) Joint Venture, with MAT Abacus and Equity Bank as key subcontractors.
