The Mubende Court Chief Magistrate ,Caroline Kabugho Byakutaaga has warned public of people masquerading as judicial officers.

Byakutaaga says most of the people have been misled by fraudsters pretending to be judicial officers and end up coned.

"You find someone dealing with non judicial staffs intending to resolve his her legal matters and at the end they are coned,"she said.

"Much as such incidents happen, it's my role to educate these people. That's why every morning before court starts I address them on how they should be helped by our people and how court works. As a remedy to solve such  challenges, all judicial staff were given  tags and no one is allowed to enter  office without it, to enable our people to easily identify  rightful people".

Ms Byakutaaga emphasized locals to continuously seek for advise from respective offices at the court .

" You find someone with a big challenge that can be resolved by court but he or she shares with someone who is not even a judicial officer. Let them come to our offices and consult because our team is always available and ready to serve," she added.

Speaking to the Nile Post, Mubende district Chairperson Michael Ntambi appreciated the work done the chief magistrate to deal with fraudsters at Mubende court.

" Way back we used to receive several complaints from locals in regards to fraud but Her worship Byakutaaga has really tried to solve this issue".
