The Uganda Hotel Owners’ Association (UHOA) today officially launched the Annual Hospitality Expo 2025 at a press conference held at Hotel Africana and streamed live on NBS TV and AfroMobile. Scheduled for August 1–3, 2025, at Hotel Africana’s People’s Space, the Expo is expected to bring together Uganda’s hospitality and tourism stakeholders under the theme “Innovation, Investment & Sustainability in Hospitality.”
Speaking during the launch, UHOA Chairperson Hon. Susan Muhwezi emphasized the inclusive nature of the Expo, saying, “Tourism is everybody’s business. It’s not only for those with big or powerful hotels. Anyone with 10 rooms or a lodge anywhere in the country can register and be part of the Uganda Hotel Owners Association. I call upon all hotels from different regions of Uganda to come and showcase the beauty of the sector they’re in.”
High-level leaders, including the Speaker of Parliament and the Minister for Tourism, along with other government and private sector executives, will grace the event. It will feature over 100 exhibitors, a CEO Breakfast Roundtable, industry workshops, skills showcases, and B2B networking sessions.
Through NBS TV and other Next Media platforms, the Expo will receive broad visibility as part of a 360-degree media strategy that aligns with Uganda’s tourism and economic transformation goals. As the official media partner, Next Media reaffirms its commitment to telling the Ugandan story and supporting national development.
The UHOA Expo 2025 aims to inspire new investments, showcase innovation, and drive sustainable practices across Uganda’s vibrant hospitality industry. With over 5,000 local and international visitors expected, it promises to be a landmark event shaping the future of tourism and service in Uganda.
