Renowned Next Media sports journalist Andrew Kabuura has drawn widespread praise after hosting international coverage of a Uefa Champions League semi-final clash between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich on SuperSport.

Kabuura, a familiar face to many Ugandans through his work on NBS Television, delivered the high-profile broadcast on Tuesday, earning admiration from audiences both locally and internationally.

Joining Andrew Kabuura in the SuperSport studio at Randburg were Salomon Kalou, a Uefa Champions League winner with Chelsea who recently joined the network as an expert analyst for the remainder of the 2025/26 season, alongside seasoned South African football figures Teko Modise and Stanton Fredericks, completing a high-profile panel that blended continental experience with global football insight.

With over 15 years of experience, Kabuura currently serves as Head of Sports Broadcast at NBS Television.

Born in Ntungamo District, his rise to international recognition is being celebrated as a source of inspiration for aspiring journalists across the country.
