Wide travel deals to resume Holyland travel to Israel
Wide Travel Deals International Ltd is set to resume their holy land trips to Israel in December 2024.
Peace Aidah Walusimbi, the manager of Wide Travel Deals International Ltd, told the Nile Post that the organization has been running holyland trips for about 10 years now, but they were halted due to the war.
"But now we resume in the first week of December this year," said Walusimbi.
She mentioned that the trips include visiting significant sites and walking the footsteps of Jesus; that's to say; the birthplace of Jesus, the crucifixion area, the Jordan river, the mountain of the transfiguration, the miracle church of Cana, the temptation mountain, the wailing wall, among others.
Walusimbi noted that participants visit these sites because they are historically and biblically significant. Besides the holy land, we visit Egypt where the Israelites began their journey, biblical sites like Mount Sinai where Moses received the Ten Commandments, and places associated with Moses' life.
Other notable sites include Mount Nebo, where God showed Moses the Promised Land, the pyramids, the Red Sea which the Israelites used to close over to the promised land( Israel)
The trips aim to strengthen participants' spiritual well-being, deepen their knowledge of the Bible, and experience significant religious sites such as the Wailing Wall (a prayer place where people believe their prayers are answered).
The trips also offer opportunities to renew wedding vows in Cana, known for the miracle of turning water into wine, and to be baptized in the River Jordan, same place were Jesus was baptized.
Wide Travel Deals International Ltd is an IATA-accredited company that has been in business since 2014.
