Kololo has been bathed in a sea of yellow as thousands of supporters flocked to the iconic grounds for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s post-nomination rally.
The President was officially nominated at 10 a.m. today at the Electoral Commission headquarters in Lubowa.
Following the nomination, Museveni arrived at Kololo, where party faithful lined the streets, waving yellow flags and banners to welcome their leader.
The rally marks the beginning of the National Resistance Movement’s campaign season ahead of the 2026 general elections.
Supporters expressed enthusiasm and optimism, vowing to back Museveni and other NRM candidates across the country.
The atmosphere is electric, with music, speeches, and coordinated processions adding to the celebratory mood.
