Speaking at the handover ceremony on Monday, the Ministry of ICT Permanent Secretary, Vincent Bagiire noted that skills imparted into students through the academy should help them start their own enterprises.

“For us, it is important because we realize and recognize that ICT can be used for efficiencies in whatever we do but that it’s also a business. We hold the view that the skills that have been imparted unto the students can be used to create their own enterprises instead of looking for employment,” Bagiire said.
