Jackson Mayanja appointed new Kyetume FC coach

Newly promoted side, Kyetume FC has appointed former KCCA FC and Uganda Cranes midfielder, Jackson Mayanja as their new coach, the Nile Post has learnt.

The Mukono based club on Thursday morning sacked their head coach, George ‘Best’ Nsimbe over a string of poor results.

However, the team has appointed Mayanja as his replacement to serve for a second spell at the newly-promoted side.

“It is true, Mayanja has been appointed,” club spokesperson, Martin Namugera confirmed the development.

Mayanja has previously been at Tanzania Premier League side, Kinondoni Municipal Council (KMC) were he was relieved of his duties last week.

Before going to Tanzania, the former midfielder had been at Kyetume where he guided the team to Uganda Premier League promotion.

Kyetume, also known as the Slaughters is currently 9th on the 16 team log , having won five times, drawn once and lost seven games to put them on 16 points.
