Newly promoted Mukono side, Kyetume Football Club on Tuesday maintained their grip in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League with a 2-1 win against Busoga United in a game played in Bombo barracks.

It was defender Jonathan Mugabi ‘Dante’ who bagged the winner for the Slaughters in the added minutes to ensure the league novices took home the maximum points.

Earlier, Kyetume had squandered the lead that they had got courtesy of former KCCA FC player Joel Nasasira when Dan Ssewava leveled matters in the 80th minute to break the nerves for Kyetume supporters.

The result ensured Kyetume has now recorded their 5th win out of the 11 games they have played, losing the same number of times they have won in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League that they are playing for the first time in their history.
