Mubiru, Mbabazi to take charge of Uganda Cranes on interim basis

The Federation of the Uganda Football association has today announced the coaches that will be in charge of the national team on interim basis.

Abadallah Mubiru, Livingstone Mbabazi, Sadiq Wassa and Geoffrey Massa will be in charge of the national team that will participate in the CHAN qualifiers starting with the one against Somalia on the 26th of this month.

While addressing the press conference held at the FUFA house in Mengo, the Federation's president Moses Magogo said the coaches will be in charge of the CHAN team as they look for a permanent coach.

"Abdallah Mubiru (head coach) Livingstone Mbabazi(Assistant) Sadiq Wassa (Goal Keeping coach) and Geofrey Massa will be the team manager. They will prepare the players for the tournament as we look for the permanent replaced for Sebsatien Desabre." said Magogo.

All the coaches mentioned were in charge of the COSAFA team that represented Uganda  in South Africa.

The FUFA president also said applications for the job are open and both Ugandans and non Ugandans are eligible to apply.
