Uganda’s biggest online retail market, Jumia has launched an anniversary sale to mark seven years of operation in the country, in which they will sell all products up to a 77 per cent discount.
The news was broken by Jumia Uganda Managing Director, Ron Kawamara, during a press briefing Tuesday at Hotel Africana in Kampala.
According to Kawamara, the anniversary discount sale which is set to run from June 24 to July 14 will feature a range of products.
“There will be a range of genuine brands ranging from electronics, fashion, home and groceries with over 500,000 goods for the market,” Kawamara said.
“I therefore encourage all customers and every body to take advantage of this “he added.
The Online retailer also promised 24-hour delivery on all products ordered for within Kampala, seven days’ delivery period for those ordered across the country, where are a two weeks delivery was placed on global shopping.
More to enjoy from the Jumia’s 7th birthday sale is insurance packages from liberty insurance on all goods in case of irregularities, this is according to Liberty Insurance Business Development Manager Kasheka Agaba.
Also part of the anniversary fete is; analogue provisions to cater for all the members without online access through Jumia express with in 24hrs, daily flash sales, treasure hunts and Jumia global shopping experience.
Jumia is in collaboration with its partners such as; Transtel which began in 1991 and the leading suppliers of electronics, liberty insurance for guarantees on all products during this birthday sale, Reddington, Samsung, Nokia, Blue Flame and Skyworth among others.
