Trailer truck that crashed cars in Kira Road accident, burnt five days later

The trailer that failed to brake and rammed into eight cars at Kira Road traffic lights last week, has Monday night been set ablaze by unknown people.

This specific trailer, last week crashed into cars that were waiting for the green signal light at Kira Road junction, leading to the death of three people and injuring many, before it came to a standstill.

Among the dead included; Phillipah Musimenta, Jude Ddamulira as well as Anthony Wakasada

The trailer truck was towed away to the road side along Kira Road police station where it has been for the last five days only to be set on fire by yet to be identified people.

According to a report from police, the incident happened at about 10:00pm when unknown people accessed the trailer truck and torched it. However, the suspects have since been apprehended.
