Table leaders  KCCA  FC on Saturday went  three points clear on top of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League table  after thumping SC Villa 4-2 in a live televised match at the StarTimes stadium in Lugogo.

Mike Mutyaba, Mustafa Kiiza, Allan Kyambadde  and Allan Okello were all on target as  the Lugogo based side brought down the record league champions.

Having been denied  earlier by the post , Mike Mutyaba finally drew first blood for KCCA FC against the run of play only three minutes to recess.

Villa had put in a better shift in the first minutes of the game through Pius Wangi who returned to the squad after being suspended by the club for their previous game but all their efforts didn't yield any tangible result.

The game  stayed 1-0 at the break.

In the second half, the record champions started so poorly and were finally punished when Allan Kyambadde set up young star Mustafa Kizza for their second to throw fans into frenzy.

In the 58th minute, Kyambadde turned scorer as he beat Keni Saidi with a far right take through the watching Villa back-line, to put the game out of reach for the visitors.

Things were not yet done  when four minutes later, Allan Okello was brought down in the forbidden area by Asuman Harishe and the young star stepped up to net the fourth for the garbage collectors.

Villa fought back with two goals through substitute Charles Lwanga and Ambrose Kirya but time could not allow them a comeback.

The win eased the pressure off KCCA FC who had previously lost to tax collectors URA FC 1-2 as they now go to 48 points, three clear of second placed Vipers.

In the other games on the day, Bright stars walloped Ndejje University 3-0 in Matugga whereas Maroons FC lost 2-1 to Onduparaka in Arua.

Kirinya Jinja SS won their second game in a row humbling Nyamityobora 2-1 while  Waswa Bbosa’s Tooro United beat Police FC 1-0 at their Buhinga fortress.
