Globally renowned evangelist and author Nick Vujicic on Wednesday visited the Next Media Park, where he interacted with Transformers, participants of the CREATE Program, and toured the facilities as part of his visit to Uganda.

His presence at the park created moments of inspiration, reflection, and discussions around resilience, purpose, mental well-being, and inclusion — themes that continue to shape conversations globally.

The visit also reflected the continued commitment by Next Media to disability inclusion and accessibility across its platforms, partnerships, and workspaces.

Officials said the organisation has invested in accessible structures within the Next Media Park while also supporting initiatives aimed at amplifying diverse voices and abilities as part of its broader mission to “Inform to Transform.”

Earlier in the day, Vujicic appeared on the NBS Breakfast Meeting hosted by Victoria Sibiya, where he spoke about faith and the growing global concerns around anxiety, emotional exhaustion, and loss of hope.

“In a world increasingly marked by anxiety, uncertainty, emotional exhaustion, and loss of hope, conversations around faith, resilience, mental well-being, and purpose have become more important than ever,” he said.

Reflecting on his future plans and connection to Uganda, Vujicic added: “I am now looking forward to my next decade, and over the next 10 years, we are reverse-engineering concepts. I want to come back to Uganda not just to preach the gospel, but to do the work.”

During his tour of the Park, Vujicic encouraged young creatives and media professionals to pursue purpose-driven careers and believe in possibilities beyond limitations.

Days before visiting the Next Media Park, Vujicic on May 18 spearheaded the launch of the third edition of Beyond the Canvas at the Reach A Hand Uganda Africa Headquarters in Lungujja, Kampala.

Running under the theme “Abilities Beyond Limits,” the initiative is a multi-stage talent and advocacy platform focused on empowering young creators and promoting conversations around inclusion and ability.

As sponsors of the initiative, NBS Plus, Next Radio, and AfroMobile continue supporting platforms designed to create opportunities for young people and amplify transformative stories across communities.

Nick’s visit to the Next Media Park reinforced ongoing calls for more inclusive spaces where creativity, purpose, hope, and opportunity can thrive.
