The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations (SPA/SO), General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has called on troops and parade commanders to deliver a flawless display during President Museveni’s swearing-in ceremony scheduled for Tuesday.

Gen Muhoozi made the remarks on Friday while inspecting final parade rehearsals at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds ahead of the national event.

While commending the troops for what he described as an already impressive performance, Gen Muhoozi urged participants to further sharpen their drills and maintain the highest standards of discipline and coordination.

“This parade must reflect the strength, discipline, and readiness of our forces. There should be no room for error,” he said.

Gen Muhoozi emphasized the importance of the inauguration ceremony, noting that invited guests and dignitaries should witness a seamless and professional performance throughout the event.

The rehearsals were attended by several senior military and security officials, including Inspector General of Police Abass Byakagaba, Commissioner General of Prisons Dr. Johnson Byabashaija, Commander of Land Forces Lt Gen Kayanja Muhanga, and Air Force Commander Lt Gen Charles Okidi.

The inauguration ceremony is expected to attract regional leaders and dignitaries from across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.
