While closing the first day of the retreat, Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga commended participants for their dedication, noting that their contributions are vital to the Kingdom’s progress.

“The retreat helps us to know one another, understand the work done in the Kabaka’s various institutions, and enables staff to gain insight into how others perceive their institutions,” Mayiga said.

He added that the retreat serves as a bridge connecting the Kabaka’s work and plays a crucial role in empowering young staff. “It also helps young staff to step forward and speak before delegates, because the youth are the Kabaka’s future force, and such platforms build their confidence,” he emphasized.

The retreat is being held under the theme: “Enhancing standards in all circumstances.”
