Stop the Comedy, Return Home- Nabbanja Urges Bobi Wine

Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja has urged opposition leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, alias Bobi Wine, to stop his alleged "comedy" and return home to his family.

According to Prime Minister RobinahNabbanja, who appeared on NBS TV's popular talkshow Barometer, no one is looking for Kyagulanyi, and he is free to come back.

“There’s no need for him to be in hiding. No body wants him. He is not under pursuit by the police, the army or the state. He is free to come from wherever he is hiding and come to his home, and observe law and order,” Nabbanja said.

Kyagulanyi, who lost the January 15 presidential election to President Museveni, has refused to recognize the results, alleging rigging and irregularities.

He has been in hiding since then, citing fears for his safety. His wife, Barbie Itungo Kyagulanyi, recently alleged that security forces raided their home and assaulted her.

The government has reiterated that Kyagulanyi is not under threat and is free to return home. However, Kyagulanyi maintains he is being targeted by the regime.

His children have been sent to the US for safety, citing concerns for their well-being.
