Uganda's Ambassador to South Africa, Paul Amoru, met with Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Thomas Tayebwa, to discuss ways of strengthening bilateral relations with Southern African nations.

The meeting, held at Tayebwa's office in Parliament, focused on enhancing commercial and geopolitical ties with South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Eswatini, Lesotho, and Zimbabwe.

"I am grateful for our fruitful discussions on deepening Uganda's bilateral, commercial & geopolitical ties across South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Eswatini, Lesotho & Zimbabwe — and for mobilising our Diaspora for national development," Ambassador Amoru said.
