In the same letter, Adong Sharon has been confirmed as the Public Relations officer of the club.

In her first statement to NilePost after the development, Adong highlighted the club’s need for something new as one of the reasons that prompted the interim committee’s decision to appoint former express manager Bamweyana.

““We wanted to get a fresh knowledge from a fresh brain hence Bamweyana was the man suitable for Basenas replacement “

Bamweyana will be deputized by club legend Nestroy Kizito who has been serving in the same capacity under Moses Basena.

Bamweyana’s first task is to save the club from relegation.

He has been out of a job since last year when he parted ways with Express.

Sports club Villa currently lies 14th on the 16 team log with four points in eight games and a goal difference minus five and is yet to win a game in the Startimes Uganda premier league.

Their next league game will be against Nyamityobora at Wankulukuon Friday 30TH November.
