Over 2,200 Pastors Graduate in Book of Revelation from Shincheonji Church

The Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony has held a large-scale graduation ceremony on November 2 for Class 116 of its Zion Christian Mission Center, marking the completion of its intensive Bible education program by 59,192 students worldwide.

Notably, an increasing number of pastors have joined the ranks of graduates, with the church reporting that more than 13,500 pastors have completed the program over the past four years.

Among the graduates were 2,248 pastors.

Church officials say this reflects growing interest in Shincheonji’s systematic approach to biblical interpretation, which emphasizes the fulfillment of biblical prophecies, particularly in the Book of Revelation.

The Zion Christian Mission Center offers a structured curriculum covering the entire Bible—from Genesis to Revelation—across three levels of study: elementary, intermediate, and advanced. To graduate, students must achieve a score of at least 90 on a comprehensive final examination.

During his address, Chairman Lee Man-hee highlighted the church’s focus on scriptural accuracy, stating, “The Bible warns that no one should add to or take away from the Word. Our Shincheonji Church of Jesus declares that we have mastered the Book of Revelation.”

He urged believers and pastors alike to reexamine their faith through the lens of Scripture rather than church tradition.

Among the graduates was former pastor Oh Sun-kyung, who shared that years of ministry had left her burdened by an inability to understand Revelation.

“I read the Bible more than 30 times, yet I could not find the answers,” she said. “But through Shincheonji’s teachings, I finally understood the logic and fulfillment of the Word. Now I can confidently say I have mastered the Book of Revelation.”

Church representatives say this year’s record-breaking graduation, themed “Love and Blessing, Light Shining Over the World,” reflects growing international participation, with attendees joining both in person at the Cheongju Church and online from overseas congregations.

Zion Christian Mission Center Director Tan Young-jin commented, “Despite ongoing criticism and misunderstanding, the number of those being renewed through the Word continues to rise. This shows that people are searching for truth grounded in Scripture.”

The ceremony brought together more than 20,000 people onsite, with thousands more watching virtually, as Shincheonji celebrated what it describes as a new era of Bible-based education and faith
