In the confusion, Haruna says some of the thugs then attempted to make for a vehicle which was holding the concert's gate collection. However, security hired for the show put up a fight and thwarted them which is when they climbed onto the stage.

Haruna, who is able to identify one of the thugs as a one Senfuka, says this gang leader attempted to hit him over the head with an iron bar. Haruna was saved by revelers and fellow performers who came to his aid and forced the thugs off the stage. They also rescued the dancer.

By this time, Police on the scene were forced to fire bullets in the air. This scared off the thugs who were heard shouting that the mission had failed.

Kream Productions has reported the incident to Mukono Police Station.

Haruna says the musicians lost a keyboard and a mixer in the melee.
