The Speaker of Parliament and NRM Second National Vice Chairperson (Female), Anita Annet Among, has this afternoon addressed a rally in Buyende District.
The rally came as Busoga Sub-region prepares to welcome President Museveni who is also the NRM presidential flag bearer, who is currently on a nationwide campaign trail.
In her remarks, Among sensitized the community on the various wealth creation initiatives spearheaded by the NRM government, urging residents to actively embrace them in order to realize the national vision of making a qualitative leap into upper middle-income status.
Among commended President Museveni for his steadfast and visionary leadership, which has enabled Uganda to transition from instability to sustained peace and economic progress.
She called upon the people of Busoga to rally firmly behind his candidature and consolidate the gains achieved under the NRM’s transformative leadership.
