The Uganda Police Force has reinstated Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Josephine Angucia as Regional Police Spokesperson for West Nile Region following her return from the Senior Command and Staff Course.

SSP Angucia, who also pursued a Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies at Makerere University during her one-year training, confirmed her return through official communication to colleagues and the public.

“I have been given RTU (Return to Unit) back to West Nile Region as PRO pending completion of the Master’s component. I am available in the PRO’s office at the Regional Police Headquarters in Arua, ready to serve in that capacity,” she stated.

She expressed gratitude to Superintendent of Police (SP) Jimmy Anguyo, SP Collins Asea, and other commanders for their leadership and cooperation during her absence.

“Thanks for your prayers. Aluta continua!” she remarked, reaffirming her dedication to police service and community engagement across the region.

During her study period, SP Jimmy Anguyo served as the acting Regional Police PRO.

Meanwhile, SP Collins Asea continues to oversee public relations for North West Nile, with his office based in Moyo District — part of the Uganda Police’s ongoing efforts to strengthen communication, coordination, and service delivery across West Nile.
