Salam TV, led by Managing Director Hajji Karim Kaliisa, has launched a comprehensive nationwide mobilization campaign, "Omumanyi wa Salam TV Nationwide," with the theme "Smart Mind for a Green Uganda." The campaign aims to engage communities across the Country, emphasizing the importance of collective participation and registration.
The team focused on Masindi district, where they held Jumah prayers at Taqwah and Masindi Main Mosque, mobilizing the community to join the initiative. Additionally, talk shows were conducted on prominent radio stations, including Radio 7 and KBS Radio, to reach a wider audience.
During the campaign, the Salam TV team met with various stakeholders, including business leaders, religious leaders, local authorities, and community members, to sensitize them about the importance of participating in the Omumanyi wa Salam TV Nationwide initiative.
The three-day tour, which started in Bombo, Masindi, and Hoima, concluded in a mega fundraising event in Mbarara for the completion of the Nyamitanga Madarasat Noor block, where over 90 million UGX were mobilized. Hajji Karim Kaliisa, MD of Salam TV and Salam Charity, urged the people of Nyamitanga and the entire country to continue fundraising until the project is completed.
