Salam TV, in collaboration with Salam Charity, hosted the launch of a mobilization campaign for the completion of the Nyamitanga Madarasat Noor block in Mbarara on 25th July 2025. The event brought together parents, staff, board members, religious and community leaders, all united in their commitment to support the project.
The construction of the block, spearheaded by Salam Charity, has reached its final phase and requires collective efforts to be completed. The headmaster of the school expressed gratitude to Salam Charity for their tireless efforts in pushing the project forward and urged them to continue their support.
Guest of Honor Hajji Karim Kaliisa, Managing Director of Salam Charity and Salam TV, emphasized the importance of unity and self-reliance in driving development. He stated, "As Muslims in Uganda, we only need to work together for development - we have all the potential and ability to develop ourselves without asking for foreign donations." Hajji Karim Kaliisa assured that Salam Charity will continue to work closely with the school management and staff to mobilize the community and complete the project.
A mega fundraising event for the completion of the Nyamitanga Madarasat Noor block is scheduled to take place on August 24, 2025, at the school premises. The event invites everyone across the country to participate in this noble cause and contribute to the school's development.
