For five consecutive years, the Omumanyi wa Salam competition has been a beacon of intellectual excellence, bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds to showcase their knowledge and skills. In 2022, the second season attracted schools and participants of all ages, with Ssegawa Hassan winning a brand-new car courtesy of Gaso Motors. The competition continued to grow, with participants receiving prizes from sponsors like Movit, Sumz, and Prestige.

The third season, held in 2023, saw Abdulwahab Abubakar win a grand prize of Hijja, while Kasule Ismail took home a land title from Armwright Investments. In 2024, Bbosa Ayub emerged as the winner, winning a Hijja prize from Muzaata Tours and Travel.

The 2025 season marked a significant milestone, with Hadiyah Namatovu becoming the first female winner of the competition. She was awarded a Hijja prize from Muzaata Tours and Travel, among other prizes. This achievement brought joy to the female fraternity and demonstrated the competition's commitment to promoting intellectual excellence among all individuals.

As Omumanyi wa Salam prepares for its next phase, the competition is set to go countrywide, visiting all regions in search of the next champion.
