Salam Charity, the humanitarian arm of Salam TV, is set to make a meaningful impact this Ramadhan through a series of charitable initiatives in partnership with Prestige Margarine, Muzaata Tours and Travels, SUMZ, Exim Bank, InfoTrust, Sheraton Kampala Hotel, Cairo Bank Uganda, Buildnet, and others.
A key highlight of this year’s efforts is the construction of mosques, schools, and hospitals in Katakwi to serve the entire community, regardless of religious background. “Education is a fundamental right, and we are committed to ensuring children in Katakwi have access to quality learning facilities,” said Abdussalaam Ali Kinobe, Country Director of Salam Charity.
Funds raised will directly support these projects, with regular updates shared via the Salam Daawa program to ensure transparency and community involvement.
Beyond infrastructure, Salam Charity will provide essential aid—including food and clothing—to vulnerable individuals and refugees throughout the holy month.
Meanwhile, the Omumanyi Wa Salam competition offers exciting rewards, with the grand winner receiving a fully funded Hajj pilgrimage, land, and other prizes. Open to all ages, the competition fosters community spirit through faith and generosity.
Having already built mosques such as Nakaloke Mosque in Mbale, Salam Charity remains dedicated to expanding its impact. Every contribution, big or small, will help bring these life-changing projects to reality.
