Salam TV launches Omumanyi wa Salam 2025, offering life changing prizes to participants

The Omumanyi wa Salam TV campaign has been running since 2021 and has benefited many people, changing their lives forever. The campaign has provided a platform for people to learn about Islam, history, and current affairs and has helped to promote a better understanding of the Islamic faith and its values.
Salam TV, a leading Islamic television in Uganda, has launched the 2025 edition of its flagship program, Omumanyi wa Salam TV. The campaign, which aims to promote Islamic knowledge, history, and current affairs, has attracted over 40 participants who will compete to win exciting prizes, including a Hijja pilgrimage, land title, Umrah pilgrimage, and many others.
The auditions for the program were held today, and the qualified participants will proceed to the next episodes, where they will be tested on their knowledge of Islamic history, theology, current affairs, world history, and general knowledge. The best performers will be awarded prizes that will change their lives forever.

According to Hajji Karim Kaliisa, Managing Director of Salam TV and Salam Charity, the Omumanyi wa Salam TV campaign is one of the ways the TV gives back to the community and encourages people to learn more about Islam and the world around them. "We are committed to bridging the gap between Islam and the rest of the world, and this campaign is a key part of that effort," he said.

Hajji Kaliisa also thanked the partners who have supported the Omumanyi wa Salam TV campaign since its inception in 2021, including Muzaata Hajji and Umrah Tours, Infotrust, Sumz, Prestige Margarine, Salam Charity, and many others. "We appreciate the tireless efforts of our partners, who have helped us make this campaign a success," he said.
Hajji Abdussalaam Ali Kinobe, the face of Omumanyi wa Salam TV, encouraged the participants to continue doing research in areas of Islamic history, theology, current affairs, world history, and general knowledge to win the competition. "We want to see our participants equipped with knowledge that will benefit them and their communities," he said.
