"As a nation, we come together, regardless of our faiths, to pray for the Kabaka’s health and well-being. We trust that through prayer and unity, his strength will be renewed," Waiswa added.

The Kabaka’s health concerns earlier this year had sparked widespread public concern, with many Ugandans expressing their support and prayers for his recovery. The IRCU has called on all Ugandans to continue praying for the Kabaka, acknowledging that such prayers are vital for the prosperity and peace of the Kingdom and the country at large.

The religious council also expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support from the public and reaffirmed the importance of interfaith unity in times of national significance.

"Let us continue to support our Kabaka with prayers for his health, wisdom, and longevity," Sheikh Waiswa concluded.

As the Buganda Kingdom remains united in prayer for the monarch’s well-being, the IRCU’s message serves as a reminder of the power of collective faith in nurturing national leaders and fostering unity among Uganda’s diverse religious communities.
