It is weeks to the start of the 2018/19 big league season and Wakiso Giants has been busy with friendly matches as their coach Ibrahim Kirya tries to find his starting team.

If the five trial matches the Purple sharks have held were a movie audition, then midfielder Feni Ali has surely earned a star role in the main cast.

Am enjoying my stay at Wakiso giants I have my target. Wakiso is a very organized team. We get everything we need. secondly at wakiso giants there’s a lot of discipline among players. We love each other.

The Purple Sharks came from two goals down to beat Sports Club Villa 3-2 in their fist friendly game, plummeted Entebbe select 3-0 before holding KCCA FC to a one all draw at the Startimes Arena in Lugogo.

The second tier outfit then lost 1-0 away to Mbarara city before being edged 2-1 by Express FC in their first game at their home ground, the Wakissha Resource centre.

Today at 4:00 pm, they will face Kirinya Jinja SS at the Bugembe Stadium.
