Uganda Shines at China International Tourism Industry Expo 2024
The Ugandan Consulate General in Guangzhou was honoured with the Best Organizer award at the closing ceremony, recognizing its exceptional efforts in promoting Uganda's tourism industry and fostering international partnerships.
The Ugandan Embassy in Beijing and the Ugandan Consulate General in Guangzhou showcased Uganda's captivating tourism potential at the prestigious China International Tourism Industry Expo (CITIE) 2024, held in Guangzhou from September 13-15.
CITIE, China's largest comprehensive international tourism expo, attracted over 43,000 visitors from around the world. Uganda's vibrant booth highlighted the country's rich cultural heritage, diverse wildlife, stunning natural landscapes, and world-renowned coffee.
