The Eastern National NRM Vice Chairman, Mike Mukula, has reiterated the need for solidarity to drive Uganda's growth and development.

In a tweet on X (formerly Twitter), Mukula, a prominent leader from Teso and a member of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM), emphasized that the key to building the nation lies in unity, stating, "In solidarity, we stand to build our country."

Mukula tagged Vice President Jessica Alupo and Speaker of Parliament Anita Among in his message, stressing that leadership must set an example in fostering national cooperation. His call has resonated with many in the Teso sub-region, where unity is seen as vital for regional progress and national contribution.

"Teso has always stood strong in moments of need, and now is the time for us to lead by example, showing the country what can be achieved when we come together," some locals emphasized, pointing to the potential for economic growth and social development if Ugandans put aside their differences.

Mukula's message comes at a crucial time as Uganda faces significant political and economic challenges.

His call for unity is expected to galvanize not only the people of Teso but also the entire country in efforts to achieve shared goals and national prosperity.

As Uganda looks ahead, Mukula's rallying cry underscores the importance of collaborative leadership and shared responsibility in building a resilient and prosperous nation.
