PLU mourns Tamale Mirundi
The Central Executive Committee of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) has paid tribute to the late Joseph Tamale Mirindi, honoring him as a frank and knowledgeable individual who unwaveringly stood by the truth.
Speaking at a press briefing held at PLU headquarters in Naguru, State Minister for Youth and Children, Balam Barugahara, said, "Tamale Mirindi was a great man who fearlessly defended both the NRM and PLU. His passing is a significant loss to our country."
Michael Nuwagira, also known as Toyota, President Museveni's brother and a PLU member, added, "Tamale Mirindi was a founder of PLU and a true patriot. He was always truthful and never compromised on his values."
Frank Gashumba, another member of PLU, praised Tamale Mirindi's unwavering commitment to his principles. "Tamale stood by the truth, even when it was difficult. He was a shining example of integrity and honesty."
The PLU leadership described Tamale Mirindi as a pillar of strength and a source of inspiration who will be deeply missed. "His legacy will live on through our continued fight for truth and justice," Barugahara emphasized.
