Ex Mbarara City forward Emmanuel Ibe Obinah joins Money bags Wakiso Giants

Wakiso Giants’ allure to top players is becoming enviable. Another star Emmanuel Ibe Obinah has joined the big league outfit on a one year deal.

The Nigerian born ex Mbarara city striker emerged as one of the top players for the western side having netted seven goals and assisted once in ten matches for the Uganda premier league new comers last season.

“ I have signed for Wakiso Giants to bring the club into premier league just like how I was brought in to save Mbarara fc from being relegated , most clubs I have played for sign me to rescue them and Wakiso Giants is the last club I will play then leave for good to Europe or Asia”.

The 25 year old brings a wealth of experience. The journey man has featured for Kenyan sides KRA fc, Mathari fc ,Western Stima fc, Nakumatt fc ,and recently URA and Mbarara city in Uganda.

He becomes the 21st signing for Ibrahim Kirya’s side joining his former Mbarara city teammate Aineman Junior from Mbarara City , Ivan Ntege from Kirinya Jinja s.s , Kareem Ndugwa from Onduparaka FC and Ayub Kisalita from Express FC, among others.

The club is expected to hold its first training session later this week at the Islamic University in Kabojja.
