As the Judiciary kicked off the hearing of cases at the new Kitgum High Court, the resident judge, Justice Phillip Odoki wants lawyers to respect court parameters and embark on relieving Gulu High Court.
“Lawyers who insist on registering their cases at Gulu High Court when they fall under Kitgum High Court for one reason or the other will not be allowed to do so at all any more” said Gulu Resident Judge, Justice Phillip Odoki.
This is among the efforts by the judiciary to respect the parameters of jurisdiction by courts and reduce on stalling of cases in other courts.
