Police in Arua City's Central Business Division have arrested 12 suspected criminals with drugs and house breaking implements in an intelligence led operation conducted on Wednesday .
The operation by Police and other security agencies was conducted in the areas of Ediofe, Ochiba coast, and Kirabu all in Arua City.
It followed a spate of robberies registered in Arua city.
According to the West Nile Regional police spokesperson, Josephine Angucia, upon sanctioning their casefile by Resident State Attorney Arua City, they will be produced before court to answer the charges.
She adds that these operations will continue until when cases of thefts and robberies of phones, wallets, bags and other acts of criminality in Arua City are minimized.
