A woman has been confirmed dead following an accident along Kyebando round about involving a Toyota Rav4 and a Mobile Crane.
Nanyonga Aidah Esther, a resident of Nansana was trying to over take but her Rav 4, registration number UAK 217C collided with a mobile crane UAX 216S.
According to Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire, the occupant of the Rav4 died instantly.
“It is alleged the driver of the Rav4 Nanyonga Aida Esther resident of Nansana was trying to over take and collided with the crane and died instantly body has since been taken to Mulago for Post mortem as investigations into the accident go on,” Owoyesigyire said.
“The Two vehicles have also been towed away and traffic flow is now normal,” he added.
