The police spokesperson explained that whereas Aulo was rushed to a nearby clinic for medical attention, she didn’t make it but she died along the way.

He noted that police have since arrested Nabwire to answer murder charges but said the managers and proprietor of the bar that also houses the lodge have also been summoned to record statements with police over negligence.

“We have summoned the managers and proprietor of Capital Pub for negligence for allowing Nabwire enter the pub and lodge with knife without being stopped. They also saw her stand next to the lodge’s door without getting concerned. Their negligence to some extent contributed to loss of a life,”Enanga noted.

He however asked people in relationships where there is distrust not to take the law into their hands but make use of Police’s child and family protection unit to help solve the matters amicably.
