Police in Kisasi are stuck with a case of theft involving a man who has only been identified by face and a woman who was on a date with him but had not yet picked enough details to make identifying him easier.

In what seems like a well-written drama play, a woman identifying herself as Tinah ( Asingirwe Christine according to police books) narrates that a ‘gentleman’ took her out for a date to unwind at an elite bar lounge in town called Sky Lounge.

The two had swapped contacts and sought privacy away from the club lights and music bangers to get to know each other better as King unfurled his full manifesto to her willing ears.

The two then agreed to a formal private meeting at Lishi Resort Hotel in Kisasi, that is where the script turned from romantic fantasy to an untitled nightmare.

Tinah claims that the “gentleman” who had introduced himself as King appeared with an excuse of having no internet bundles, but her quick thinking ensured that a solution to keep him connected would make matters even juicer. Hence her phone hotspot sufficed.

In the meantime, while they chuckled and talked surrounded by a lot of drinks and bites, she got an urgent need to use the bathroom.

King had talked his way into her trust, he had indeed impressed enough that he was not in it for a short call which made Tinah comfortable enough to ease herself shortly.

Alas, on return, King had annexed her property and had fled back to whatever "theifdom" he reigns over.

Among things that had been taken include an iPhone X Max and Shs 100,000 which King obtained following a fruitful search in Tinah’s handbag.

Like the King he is, he left the bill to be paid for by his subjects- unfortunately, none was around.

Tinah has run to social media to unmask King, accepting that she had not captured enough details about him but in all, she has a picture which she has displayed for help in the search.

A case has been entered at Kisasi Police station under SD16/29/06/2022.
