Water Supply Disruption Expected in Kampala East Zone
National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) warns residents in Kampala East and surrounding areas of water supply interruptions on Wednesday, January 18, 2026, due to emergency power line works.

 

The Management of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) – Kampala Water has announced that water supply will be interrupted on Wednesday, January 18, 2026, from 8am. to 7pm.

The disruption is a result of planned emergency works by the Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited (UETCL) along the Mukono-Namanve power line.

Water production and supply schedules will be affected in several areas, including Katosi, Kisoga, Mukono, Seeta, Mbalala, Namugongo, Namanve, Sonde, parts of Kireka, Kamuli, Kyaliwajala, Bulindo, Nsasa, Mulawa, Nabusugwe, Kitukutwe, Naalya, Ntinda, Kisaasi, Najeera, Luteete, Gayaza, parts of Kamwokya, Mbuya, Mutungo, Kitintale, Matugga, and surrounding neighborhoods.
