The collaboration marks the 13th Lunar New Year limited edition bottle by Johnnie Walker, a tradition that has become a cultural symbol within Asian communities worldwide.

Inside the bottle is the rare spirit that defines Johnnie Walker Blue Label, drawn from just one in 10,000 casks.

The blend opens with bright citrus and subtle floral notes, deepening into layers of dark chocolate, vanilla, and hazelnut, finishing with the brand’s signature smooth, smoky character.

The design reflects patience, precision, and artistry—qualities associated with both couture craftsmanship and premium whisky blending—making the bottle a collector’s piece as well as a celebratory release.

Christine Kyokunda, Brand Manager for Johnnie Walker East Africa, congratulated Chinese communities in Uganda as they usher in the new year. She described the collaboration as a tribute to tradition reimagined for a new generation.

“This collaboration represents everything Johnnie Walker Blue Label stands for: progress, craft, and the courage to keep moving forward. Such partnerships allow us to connect culture, design, and luxury in a way that feels meaningful and modern,” Kyokunda said.

She added that the limited-edition bottle symbolizes resilience and optimism while inviting consumers to celebrate progress and possibility in the year ahead.

The 2026 Lunar New Year Limited Edition Bottle is now available at select distributors in Kampala.
