Travel influencer and Sanyuka TV host Tracy Mildred is proving that adventure content goes far beyond beautiful camera shots after taking on one of her boldest experiences yet at the CTC Conservation Center.
While filming for Lambula, Tracy came face to face with Hector, an eight-month-old lion, getting the rare opportunity to touch and interact with the young animal up close a moment she described as both exciting and surreal.
However, it was holding a live snake that completely changed the atmosphere.
Despite maintaining her composure for the cameras, Tracy admitted she was extremely nervous throughout the experience.
“Honestly, the snake felt like rubber… but I was trembling the entire time,” Tracy revealed.
The media personality said the experience pushed her far outside her comfort zone and gave her a deeper appreciation for wildlife conservation, animal handling, and the realities behind Uganda’s tourism experiences.
Known for her energetic, youth-driven travel content, Tracy Mildred continues to build her brand as one of Uganda’s rising travel hosts by exploring unique destinations and creating experiences that blend entertainment, tourism, and adventure.
“Seeing these animals on television is completely different from standing next to them in real life. I was honestly shaking, but I also wanted to challenge myself and appreciate the importance of wildlife conservation,” she shared.
The experience also highlighted the growing role of conservation awareness among young audiences and the increasing popularity of experiential tourism content across Uganda’s digital media space.
Through her adventurous spirit and candid reactions, Tracy Mildred continues to inspire audiences to explore Uganda, embrace new experiences, and connect more deeply with nature and wildlife conservation.
From touching lions to confronting her fear of snakes, the Lambula host says viewers should expect even more daring experiences in the coming episodes.
