Learning materials stolen as thugs break into Mubende school
Several learning materials were non Tuesday night stolen after unknown assailants broke into Lubona Community Secondary School in Kassambya Town council Mubende district .
While speaking to parents , the head teacher Nicodemus Abaho Bizimaa said that thugs took everything from the school store.
"When I reached the school on Tuesday morning, I found the store empty and all the text books, food stuffs and computers stolen."
Abaho said the future is now bleak since they dont have where to carry out practical lessons from after the science equipment was stole.
"Parents tried their level best to buy the science materials we have been using but all have been stolen. We call upon good Samaritans to help our children with learning materials."
"For now, we have halted lessons as we look for the way forward."
He expressed concern over the attack .
Janette Nazziwa, a senior three students who is also the Head girl at the school said it was a trying moment .
"As students ,we are really stuck , we have no where to go and we only pray to God to punish those behind the attacks."
In an engagement meeting, parents raised shs600,000 to support the school by constructing a temporary structure for students .
By press time, police had not commented on the matter.
