Iron bar hitmen kill popular Teso musician
The gospel music community in Teso is mourning the loss of Douglas Osire, a renowned gospel musician and youth pastor at Embassy of God Ministries led by Pastor Denis Amos Emojong Osire who was brutally attacked by iron bar hitmen as he returned home from Kampala.
Good Samaritans rushed him to a nearby clinic, but his condition was unmanageable, and he was later transferred to Mulago where underwent brain surgery to address a blood clot caused by the attack but sadly passed away before the second surgery.
Osire was a talented musician who released the popular album "Spirit in Motion", with the lead song "Emamei" being a huge hit. His music inspired many, and his legacy will live on through his songs.
The music industry and fans are shocked and saddened by his untimely death, and appeals are being made to give him a befitting sendoff. Osire's contributions to gospel music and his impact on the youth will be deeply missed.
