Get time for wellness it’s worth it

What does wellness look like for me? Some days, it’s Zumba—loud music, big moves, sweating everything out. On other days, it’s a quiet massage or just lying still on a mat with my phone on silent. And honestly? Sometimes it’s just showing up to the space and doing nothing at all. That’s the beauty of it.

At Next Media, we don’t wait for burnout to start caring about how we feel. Every Thursday, wellness is built into the day.

We’ve got massage therapy, ear candling, yoga, Zumba, and sometimes a bit of laughter therapy (even if that’s just from watching someone try Zumba for the first time). We call it Wellness Thursday, but really, it’s about checking in—with yourself, with your body, with your people.

There’s also a Running Club, and no, it’s not just for the pros. Some of us run to keep fit, others run just to clear their minds. What matters is we do it together. In the long run, teamwork built makes the dream work.

The best part? No one forces you. You don’t have to show up. But you can. And knowing that there’s space for that in your workday? That matters.

Over time, this has become normal here. Wellness isn’t a luxury. It’s part of the work. It’s part of what keeps us going. So again, what does wellness look like for me? It depends on the day. But at Next Media, I know I’ll always have the option to pause, breathe, and move, and that’s made all the difference.
