Ugandan artist Brian Weiyz is stepping into a new phase of his career with the release of his upcoming album P.OR.N (President Or Nothing)—a project he describes as a statement of purpose rather than just music.
At a time when much of the industry leans toward trends and repetition, Brian Weiyz is choosing a different path. P.OR.N is built on intention, carrying a clear message about identity, growth, and breaking away from creative limitation. The title itself reflects a mindset, going all in or not at all.
The album features 11 tracks and an intro, with each song representing a strong point of view. It is not designed as a collection of random hits, but as a body of work where every record stands for something, whether it is personal reflection, creative resistance, or artistic direction. The entire project is mastered by Herbert Skills, bringing a polished and cohesive sound to the album.
Brian Weiyz uses this project to challenge the idea that artists must stay within a fixed sound or expectation to be accepted. Instead, he embraces evolution, blending Afro-fusion and R&B influences in a way that reflects both his roots and his ambition to create music that travels beyond borders.
Born Brian Kaganda , Brian Weiyz is a singer-songwriter and creative known for his distinct approach to both music and visual storytelling. Signed under Cquel Ent, he has built a strong catalog with songs like Ayagala, Wekole Byona, Kikola, Chali Wo, She Say, and Easy, as well as projects like Gud Child and 4.11.
Over the years, he has worked with leading producers such as Artin Pro, Nessim, Mesh Pan, and Zulitums and collaborated with artists including Karole Kasita, Lillian Mbabazi, Nina Roz, Pallaso, Recho Rey, Dokta Brain, Aroma, and Slick Stuart & Roja, creating music that connects with a wide audience.
Beyond music, Brian Weiyz is also an accomplished graphic designer and art director, working with major brands and shaping visuals for both corporate and entertainment spaces. This dual creative identity, sound and design, defines his approach, where every release is both heard and seen.
