Skrillex to Headline the 10 Year Anniversary of Nyege Nyege
The festival is set to feature over 300 acts across six immersive stages, blending global superstars with a rich tapestry of African and Ugandan talent.

The stage is set for the most ambitious Nyege Nyege Festival yet, as organizers launched its 10th-anniversary edition, promising an unforgettable four-day music and arts extravaganza at Kalagala Falls from November 20th to 23rd.

The reveal came with a headliner, global electronic music icon, DJ Skrillex.

Speaking at the launch event held at the Talent Africa Group rooftop, Nyege Nyege co-founder Derek Debru set expectations sky-high.

"This year, we’re preparing the mother of experiences for you," he declared. "We want to surprise you again, and you’ll be blown away. It’ll bring an experience you’ve never seen before in Uganda and East Africa. Expect the very best."

Aly Alibhai, CEO of Talent Africa Group, emphasized the expanded scope of this year's event.

"We’re proud to produce and manage this festival," he said. "We’ve gone above and beyond to ensure that this experience is out of this world. We’re integrating fashion and film into the program and working with tourism partners to ensure that visitors engage in other tourist activities."

Media partner Next Media also pledged its full support to showcase the festival's decade-long journey.

John Danze, head of marketing at Next Media, stated, "We pledge to keep on supporting Nyege Nyege and the entire creative economy. We shall cover 360 degrees with a keen focus on highlighting what the 10 years have been like. My call is for us to show the right story about Uganda to the world."

With Jokwiz and Sheila Salta as official MCs and early bird tickets already on sale for 150,000 UGX, the 10th edition of Nyege Nyege is shaping up to be a landmark celebration of music, culture, and adventure.
