Next Radio Powers the Latest Edition of Reminisce, Lighting Up Kampala’s Nightlife

Kampala’s nightlife came alive this past weekend as Rhythm & Brunch – Kampala Edition delivered a nostalgic journey through 90s and 2000s R&B at Kati Kati Grounds. The event was proudly sponsored by Next Media’s leading brands—Next Radio, AfroMobile, and this edition’s newest sponsor, NBS Music—reinforcing the media group’s ongoing commitment to supporting Uganda’s vibrant entertainment scene.

Next Radio and AfroMobile have been steadfast sponsors for the past 11 editions of Reminisce, consistently backing the event’s mission to celebrate authentic old-school vibes. This latest collaboration, now joined by NBS Music, took the experience to an even higher level, making it a night to remember for thousands of fans.

Organized by Social Ghana Experiences in partnership with The Reminisce, the event brought an impressive international lineup featuring the UK’s Jonny Stone and Handsome Fella, Uganda’s own Timothy Code, Ghana’s DJ Slybeatz and Temple XTD, alongside crowd favorites DJ Bryan and Crysto the DJ from Uganda. The DJs delivered high-energy sets and flawless mixes that transported revellers back to the golden era of R&B, under one strict rule: No Amapiano. No Afrobeats. Just Old School R&B.

Since its inception in 2021, Reminisce has grown from a simple craving for an authentic old-school atmosphere into a must-attend event that now crosses borders, with its most recent edition held in Rwanda. The partnership with Next Media brands continues to be key in delivering quality entertainment experiences that resonate deeply with Ugandan audiences.
