In the song, the artists acknowledge the role money plays in any relationship.
Warafiki who comprise Tori, Eyla and Treezy in the song probe into the modern subtleties of love and financial expectations, tackling issues of how the lack of money causes lack of love.
Beautifully crafted by Nandor Love, a dancehall singer and songwriter, the song reflects a realistic view of modern relationships.
Being a hands-on person, Steve Jean led the team of producers including Joel Keyz and Meshpan on the production and mastering of the jam at Fenon Records studio, ensuring a polished and captivating sound.
Different from their past two projects, this particular song offers a catchy tune, danceable beat and a relatable chorus as well.
Tori (Victoria Mbabazi), Eyla (Damalie Nalugwa), and Treezy (Patricia Debra Nakalembe) as Warafiki made a name for themselves in the Ugandan music scene after signing with Fenon Records earlier last year.
Besides this new release, the trio has blessed us with songs like “Tetubafanana” and “Bwekati”.
