Swangz Avenue’s recording artist, Azawi has announced that her debut album will be released on this year’s Independence Day.
Azawi, who only signed a record deal with Swangz Avenue a year ago has been billed by many to be one of the best of our generation after her instant success with her debut Quinamino song.
On Wednesday, she announced that the debut album titled “African Music” will soon be released
The singer broke onto the scene last year with her chat topping EP that featured songs like Quinamino, Repeat it and Lo Fit.
Two singles off the “African Music” album have already been successful with “Slow dancing” which is one of the songs on the album gone on to become number one song in Uganda by YouTube and Apple Music.
In a video message posted on her social media platform, Azawi doesn’t give away much about the album.
There is also no mention of the artists who are featuring on the album but the singer however promises more details like the track list before the October,9.
The Quinamino singer is yet to do a collabo with any artist but she says this will soon change with the release of the album
With all the success in a very short time, Azawi is yet to collaborate with any artist but she hints that this will soon change when the album drops.
